Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking an Engineering Team Leader (Mechanical Bias) to provide direction, leadership and technical support within the Operational Estates department. You will oversee maintenance teams handling planned and breakdown work, with involvement in continuous improvement and on-call responsibilities.

• Participation in an out of hours on Call rota.
• Welsh language desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers welcome to apply.

Job Overview

We are currently seeking a (Mechanical Bias) enthusiastic self motivated, dynamic Engineering Team Leader and will fit into this very important role within the Operational Estates department. You will provide direction, leadership and technical support to the maintenance teams which are responsible for the completion of planned corrective work, breakdown repairs, and continuous improvement activities.

Main duties of the job

You will be time served with a recognised indentured apprenticeship in Electrical / Mechanical or Building Services HNC/HND or equivalent level of knowledge and/or experience in the Engineering trade.

You will have gained experience within a team leader role and preferably within an hospital environment and have extensive knowledge of Engineering systems.

You will participate in an out of hours on Call rota.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
