Job summary

Orion Electrotech is recruiting an Assembly Operative for a busy manufacturing team in Reading. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical assembly, following drawings and procedures.

You will use hand tools, work on small components, perform basic quality checks, and thrive in a hands-on environment with a 2:30pm–11:00pm Monday to Friday shift. The site offers a supportive team and opportunities to develop practical skills in a linked electrical and mechanical production line.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or engineering environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to perform precise hands-on assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical assembly work.
• Assemble electrical and mechanical components accurately to instructions and specifications.
• Use a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment.
• Perform basic quality checks on completed assemblies.
