Job summary

Orion Electrotech is recruiting an Assembly Operative for a busy manufacturing team in Reading. The role focuses on practical, hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly work in a supportive environment.

You will follow drawings and instructions, use hand tools and assembly equipment, perform basic quality checks, and work closely with colleagues to meet production targets. Shift is Monday to Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm, with attention to detail and reliability valued.

Qualifications

• Have experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Are comfortable carrying out precise, hands-on assembly work.
• Have a reliable and positive attitude.
• Are able to work the 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday to Friday shift.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
