Job summary

KLA is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling, testing, commissioning and diagnosing complex semiconductor equipment, with emphasis on fault-finding and process optimization.

Ideal candidates will have an electrical engineering background, strong schematics literacy, and experience in a manufacturing environment. The position includes a shift pattern and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent practical experience.
• Electrical engineering background required.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of three-phase and single-phase electrical systems.
• Hands-on, practical approach to solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate and test semiconductor manufacturing modules and systems.
• Perform electrical commissioning and verification activities on live equipment.
• Conduct testing against engineering specifications and procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and fluid power faults.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering documentation.
• Carry out cosmetic and functional quality inspections.
• Record test results and manufacturing data using electronic systems.
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency and throughput.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and product development teams.
• Support new product introduction and product development activities when required.
