Job summary

Greenlands Energy is seeking an Electrical Manager to oversee all electrical installations across South Wales, including Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV charging. The role covers quality supervision, compliance, and leading in-house electricians and subcontractors.

You will maintain NICEIC and MCS accreditation, support tenders and project delivery, and ensure high workmanship standards and safety across all sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation required or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• Inspection and Testing experience (e.g. IPI) desirable.
• Solar PV and Battery Storage qualifications desirable.
• Proven experience in electrical installations and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all electrical installations, incl. Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging and traditional systems.
• Act as Quality Supervisor (QS) for electrical works, ensuring standards and compliance.
• Maintain NICEIC and MCS accreditation, and prepare for audits.
• Carry out quality assurance including inspection, testing, snagging and close-out.
• Lead and develop electrical team and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, designers and project managers for smooth delivery.
• Ensure risk assessments, method statements and toolbox talks are up to date.
• Review electrical paperwork (certificates, EICRs, EICs).
• Provide technical support for tenders and new opportunities.
• Monitor project progress, costs and performance; resolve issues.
