Job summary

Invictus Group in Loughton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join an established in-house engineering team. The role offers a 35-hour week, Mon to Fri, with a competitive total package and extensive technical training to support long-term career progression.

You will perform planned preventive maintenance across M&E building services, respond to faults, and assist with HVAC and electrical systems, with opportunities for further training and growth.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias ideally, although mechanically biased engineers will be considered.
• Relevant Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services qualification
• Commercial M&E facilities maintenance experience
• Good practical fault finding ability
• Keen to undertake further technical training

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across M&E building services
• Responding to reactive faults and breakdowns
• Electrical fault finding and general electrical maintenance
• Supporting mechanical building services maintenance
• Working across lighting, power, plant and associated building systems
• Carrying out routine plant room inspections
• Supporting HVAC and mechanical equipment
• Identifying faults and completing remedial works
• Liaising with specialist contractors where required
• Completing maintenance records and job updates
• Participating in an occasional callout rota
• Working as part of an established in-house engineering team
