Job summary

Lorien is seeking two Electrical Maintenance Technicians for a brand-new Avonmouth site operated for a major global logistics provider on behalf of a leading UK retail brand. The state-of-the-art distribution facility is a critical part of the wider supply chain, and you will join the maintenance team on the tools as the site comes online.

The role requires carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance and responding to breakdowns, supporting compliance, and coordinating with contractors.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical background and ideally a time-served Electrician or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, industrial, or retail maintenance environments.
• Comfortable with rotating shift patterns and on-call rota.
• Proactive, safety-first approach and good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive/breakdown maintenance requests.
• Support statutory compliance and remedial works across the site.
• Work safely in line with Health & Safety legislation and site procedures.
• Support contractors and specialist third parties attending site.
• Report issues, faults, and completed works accurately.

Hours: Rotating 2-week shift pattern - 6:00am to 2:00pm/2:00pm to 10:00pm

About You
