The Role
Due to success and growth, we are recruiting for four Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join us. This role will support customers with the HV maintenance and repair services needed to ensure that we stay up to date with new requirements with the latest technologies and turbine advancements.

You will be joining James Fisher Renewables at an exciting regional expansion and will have the opportunity to advance your career into HV maintenance & SAP status within the onshore and offshore wind industry.

Role Accountabilities

• Support client Commissioning & O&M requirements.
• Switchgear & Transformer Maintenance.
• Maintenance of LV systems.
• Maintenance and Repair to high standards, documenting work completed and providing required evidence.
• Support projects globally with key clients.
• Working on rotations and ad hoc as required.
• Promote H&S at every opportunity supporting the HSE reporting systems, HSE team & Leadership team to ensure the culture of the business is based on ZERO Harm safety and learning through lessons learned and feedback.

Knowledge,Qualifications and Experience

• Experience of working in a Transmission, Construction or O&M Renewables environment.
• Experience within other complex hazardous operational environments such as electricity generation plant, chemical plants, Merchant or Royal Navy etc will also be considered.
• Electrical time served apprenticeship or equivalent.
• In depth technical knowledge (mechanical and/or electrical) of Wind Turbines.
• Technical knowledge of Offshore Wind System lifecycle and various stages of design, installation, monitoring and maintenance.
• An existing HV Maintenance technician or full WTSR Authorised Technician with the requirement to become authorised under customers' Electrical Mechanical Safety Rules and/or Wind Turbine Safety Rules and management instructions.
• Experience working with Turbine and Power Cable OEM's.
• IT Literate.
• Flexibility to work on or offshore.
  
• Siemens 8VM1 Switchgear Training.
• Weiz FITtraining.

• Areva WSA maintenance.
• Ormazabal maintenance.
• Siemens NX Plus maintenance.
• ABB ZX 1.2 maintenance.
• Transformer Oil Sampling maintenance.
• ABB Safe Plus maintenance.
• Siemens FI Transformers.
• Siemens cast resin transformers.
• Pauwels Transformers.
• IOSH / NEBOSH qualified.
• Previous EMSR Authorisation (66kV Limited Senior Authorisation - SAP.
