The Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, our client now has an open position for an experienced Maintenance Technician. You will work collaboratively to promote safety rules and regulations. As a Maintenance Technician, you will handle exciting and challenging tasks in an ultra-modern, innovative, and creative environment. You will receive intensive on-the-job training from expert colleagues, ensuring you quickly become familiar with your duties and perform them independently.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

1. Participate actively in department/plant safety programs and promote safety rules and regulations.
2. Investigate and resolve equipment failures, determine root causes, and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
3. Recommend and specify alterations to improve equipment requirements and system reliability/capacity.
4. Complete PM allocations for all electrical programs on site, adhering to company standards, HSE standards, ATEX standards, and power/distribution systems.
5. Provide hands-on support to resolve maintenance-related field problems as they occur.
6. Stay updated on new methodologies, equipment, instrumentation, controls, and technology for plant application.
7. Participate in planning and executing minor and major shutdowns, providing technical support during shutdowns to ensure error-free execution.
8. Apply a continuous improvement philosophy to daily work.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Time-served Maintenance Electrician
• Ability to read loop drawings and line diagrams
• Good electrical technical abilities
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing various equipment
• Completed Apprenticeship / HNC / HND or equivalent
