Job summary

KFM Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established, family-run business based in East Hull. You will be part of the onsite Facilities Management team, carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and general building maintenance to keep the site safe, compliant and operational.

The role involves carrying out general electrical repairs and maintenance, electrical isolations, inspections and testing, and supporting the facilities team with

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or engineering maintenance.
• Recognised electrical qualification as listed in education.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 18th Edition requirements.
• Health and safety awareness and compliance.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Complete electrical isolations safely and in line with site procedures.
• Undertake electrical inspections and maintenance checks.
• Support the Facilities Management team with general handyperson duties.
• Identify and report faults and maintenance issues.
• Ensure all work meets relevant standards and regulations.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Electrical Maintenance Technician - East Hull

KFM Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a well-established, family-run business based in East Hull.

You will be part of the onsite Facilities Management team, carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and general building maintenance to keep the site safe, compliant and operational.

The Role

• Carry out general electrical repairs and maintenance

The Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in facilities management, building services or engineering maintenance
• Recognised electrical qualification - NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Electrical Inspection & Testing qualification (desirable)
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
