Electrical Maintenance Technician

Location: Dunbar

Salary: £47,239 + Bonus + Overtime + Benefits

The Role

We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy industrial site in Dunbar. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical skills to play a key role in keeping operations running safely and efficiently.

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.
  • Work on three-phase motors, actuators, control panels, transformers, and electrical circuits.
  • Diagnose, fault-find, and repair using schematic diagrams.
  • Assist with contractor supervision and cross-functional support.
  • Conduct plant inspections and ensure high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Use the CMMS system for accurate reporting (training provided).
  • Support project and installation work with plenty of overtime opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven background in electrical maintenance.
  • Industrial experience - e.g. power, manufacturing, or engineering process environments.
  • Three-phase experience essential.
  • HV and electrical installation experience desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work proactively.
