Job summary

360 Resourcing client in Barnsley is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing site on a full-time, permanent basis. You will maintain production equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure plant systems run safely and reliably.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years' industrial maintenance experience, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), and is comfortable working a 4-shift rota with CMMS literacy and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced maintenance engineer with 4+ years in an industrial environment.
• Experience in fast-paced engineering/manufacturing settings.
• Ability to work a 4-shift rota.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production plant and equipment.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with on-site contractors and remote service engineers.
• Diagnose and resolve machine breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Fault find on mechanical systems such as gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Keep CMMS records up to date and accurate.
• Monitor stock levels of critical parts and equipment.
• Mentor apprentices.
