Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an Electrical Maintenance Operative to join our on-site team in Bristol. You will perform pre-planned and reactive maintenance and document work in CAFM while collaborating with engineers and clients.

The role requires substantial building services knowledge plus electrical qualifications and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, while maintaining high safety standards.

Competenze

• Substantial practical experience across building services and electrical systems.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) familiarity.
• AM2 Qualification desirable.
• Experience in technical estates or facilities management environments.

Mansioni

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as a Electrical Maintenance Operative. The team is multi skilled and this role provides an opportunity to learn new skills and share your talent. You will be carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance recorded on JLL's CAFM system as well as many other tasks that working in a busy shopping centre requires.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, ensuring standards are maintained and liaising with engineers, subcontractors, and clients to address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with business risk management procedures and complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, including CAFM system updates.
• Maintain a proactive approach to client liaison, ensuring effective communication and escalation of concerns where necessary.
• Support operational requirements including participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
• Demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, leadership qualities, and a 'can do' attitude while maintaining high standards across electrical and building services systems.
• Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
• Ensure accurate detailed reporting and escalated issues where required.
• Ensure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
• Actively participate in the health and safety processes required under JLL policies and procedures including, but not limited to, completing risk assessments, reporting good catch /near miss observations, adhering to COSHH guidance.
• Undertake any other reasonable instruction from the Contract Manager.
• Additional training will be provided as necessary.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Substantial practical experience with a comprehensive knowledge of all building services disciplines.
• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• AM2 Qualification.
• Experience in a technical estates or facilities management environments.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work flexibly within a team.
• Ability to work to time constraints while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
