Job summary

CV Technical LTD is seeking two Electrical Maintenance Engineers for our Devon manufacturing site. The roles involve fault finding, planned maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement within a structured engineering team.

You will work across Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines, maintaining three-phase systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and packaging equipment. Overtime is paid, with pension and holiday benefits available.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.
• Mechanical maintenance experience is beneficial.
• Knowledge of PLC and/or DCS systems is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and fault find.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.
• Carry out general site maintenance activities.
• Work across Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines.
• Maintain and troubleshoot three-phase electrical systems, analogue current loops, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyor and packaging equipment.

2x Electrical Maintenance Engineers Required

Location:

Devon (Manufacturing Site)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured engineering team with clear progression opportunities into supervisory roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out effective fault finding
• Perform planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules
• Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives
• Carry out general site maintenance activities
• Work across both Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines
• Maintain and troubleshoot:
• Three-phase electrical systems
• Analogue current loops
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Converting machinery (cutting/sheeting)
• Packaging equipment (wrappers)
• Conveyor systems and processing lines

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
• Mechanical maintenance experience is beneficial
• Knowledge of PLC and/or DCS systems is advantageous but not essential

The Role

• Monday to Friday, days-based role (08:00 - 16:30)
• Salary - £40,869
• Call-out rota: 1 in 4 weekends
• Reporting into the Electrical Lead within a structured engineering team (Electrical & Mechanical Engineers)
