Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Southampton to maintain and improve production equipment. The role covers planned and reactive electrical maintenance, supporting improvement projects and reliability initiatives in a modern industrial manufacturing environment.

The candidate should have an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and strong fault-finding skills on manufacturing machinery, with experience in PPM and reactive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience as Electrical Maintenance Engineer in industrial manufacturing/production environments.
• Must hold a formal Electrical Engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3).
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills on manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to maximise efficiency and reliability.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Must have previous experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Must have experience within an industrial manufacturing, production or process environment.
• Must hold a recognised formal Electrical Engineering qualification minimum NVQ Level 3
• Strong electrical fault-finding and repair experience on manufacturing machinery.
• Experience carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

Desirable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• C & G electrical inspection and testing
• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Experience with new equipment installations and project work.
• Experience compiling Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
• CMMS or computerised maintenance management system experience.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing or TPM experience.
