Are you an established Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work for one of the world’s leading Facilities Maintenance providers? An exciting opportunity to join an established international FM service provider based in Victoria has arisen!

PRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a high-end commercial building situated in Victoria. The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of multi-skilled maintenance within this commercial office environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This position is suitable for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer seeking progression.

Duties:

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, complete reports and paperwork.
• Perform reactive and emergency breakdown tasks, completing associated documentation.
• Participate in a call-out rota to provide out-of-hours cover for the client.
• Assist team members as required or directed by the line manager.
• Ensure all tasks are completed within contractual time scales.
• Proactively work to reduce energy consumption on site.
• Supervise visiting subcontractors regarding work standards and health and safety.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
• Work safely and diligently, complying with all health and safety policies.
• Attend and participate in training and appraisal activities.
• Undertake additional duties as required within capabilities.

Requirements:

• Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in Electrical discipline (essential).
• Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in Mechanical discipline (desirable).
• Completed City & Guilds BS 2391 Level 3 Electrical Inspection & Testing (desirable).
• Experience in maintenance, testing, and fault finding on various equipment.
