Job summary

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a specialist engineering team maintaining a diverse portfolio of rides and attractions in a safety-critical environment.

You'll inspect, diagnose and repair complex electro-mechanical systems, troubleshoot electrical panels, control systems, sensors, drives and instrumentation while also maintaining ride vehicles and mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• ONC, NVQ Level 3 or BTEC equivalent gained via apprenticeship or college.
• Post-qualification experience in maintenance engineering is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, rail, aerospace or similar environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety-critical inspections and Planned Preventative Maintenance across rides and systems.
• Diagnose faults, perform reactive maintenance and accurately log activities.
• Carry out planned maintenance including strip downs, rebuilds and component replacements.
• Support electrical and mechanical fault finding across complex attraction systems.
• Maintain records, ensure safety standards and participate in ride overhauls if required.
