Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong Electrical bias for a Welsh manufacturer. You will respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, carry out planned maintenance, and support continuous improvement across the site.

Working on a rotating three-shift pattern covering mornings, afternoons and nights, you will maintain production performance and reliability. Experience with fault finding on automated systems is essential, and you’ll collaborate with

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification required.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and repair production machinery and site services.
• Carry out planned maintenance inspections to high standards.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs as part of a team.
• Identify recurring issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Work with production teams to maximise equipment availability.
• Support projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Follow safe systems of work and LOTOTO processes.
• Contribute to housekeeping, quality and safety standards.
• Help develop engineering standards and best practices.
