Job summary
Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a varied role within the manufacturing sector. The position requires hands-on experience in maintenance and installations.
You will cover four sites in the group, perform routine electrical tests, support ISO-compliant maintenance, participate in an on-call rota, and help reduce downtime through proactive PM schedules.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with panel building and electrical installation work.
- Willing to participate in an on-call rota for maintenance.
- PLC literacy and ability to complete PPM schedules.
- Experience with wiring tests and instrumentation.
- Able to perform mechanical maintenance when required.
Responsibilities
- Cover production needs regarding engineering issues and breakdowns.
- Conduct routine test and inspection of electrical systems and portable appliances.
- Undertake maintenance activities in line with ISO and customer specs.
- Reduce maintenance costs and utilise PPM to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Work as part of the group maintenance team across four sites.
- Assist Engineering Manager with ongoing and new projects.
- Participate in mechanical maintenance when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to optimise performance and downtime.
