Job summary

A dynamic manufacturer in Herefordshire is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving breakdown issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficiency. Qualifications

• Apprentice trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience in maintenance & breakdowns for a manufacturer.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify failure modes of plant equipment and return it to operation safely.
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Liaise with engineering teams to resolve long-term issues.
• Locate and manage spare parts using maintenance management systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance routines.
• Investigate and rectify all electrical faults.

Base pay range

£49,000

Responsibilities

• Identifying failure modes of plant equipment and returning the equipment to operation safely and in a reasonable timescale.
• Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns.
• To liaise with engineering day teams to identify and resolve long-term engineering issues.
• Locating spare parts using the maintenance management system. Collecting and returning spares to stores.
• Identifying failure modes of electrical equipment and making recommendations to prevent further failures.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance routines, including motor brush replacement and set up.
• Investigate and rectify all electrical faults.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience of maintenance & breakdowns for a manufacturer.
• A level 3 equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Have a flexible approach to service delivery.
• A desire to help develop the role to best meet the requirements of the company and customers.
• Full UK driving licence.
