Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking Electrical Maintenance Engineers for a Basildon, Essex site. You will join a small team maintaining all building services, delivering both PPM and reactive tasks at a commercial property.

The role requires an electrical qualification (City & Guilds Level 2 minimum) and a proven track record in building maintenance. Competitive salary, 25 days holiday, pension, and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification with City & Guilds Level 2 minimum.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Multiskilled across building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems.
• Perform emergency lighting testing and fire alarm checks.
• Monitor and maintain control panels and carry out ballast changes.
• Water treatment tasks including temperature checks.
• Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold checks).
• Maintain and update logbooks and compliance records.
• Carry out basic plumbing works including unblocking toilets.
• Maintain pumps and motors.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations.
