Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to provide technical support for electrical and MES activities, aiming to improve asset performance and support capital projects while ensuring health and safety standards are met.

You will work across electrical engineering, automation, MES and process technology, collaborating with production teams to guarantee safe, reliable and compliant operations at our state-of-the-art coffee manufacturing plant.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 and time served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in an MES engineering or related role with practical electrical experience.
• Ability to apply electrical engineering knowledge in an operational manufacturing environment with safe working practices.
• Experience contributing to multidisciplinary engineering projects and commissioning or start-up of equipment.
• Ability to coordinate technical teams and communicate with Engineering, Production, Safety, Quality and Logistics colleagues.
• Ability to manage priorities and maintain technical documentation with change control and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen electrical, process and equipment safety by applying standards and addressing risk.
• Improve availability and condition of electrical distribution, automation and MES assets.
• Shape practical technical solutions and support capital project delivery within quality, timing and budget.
• Maintain clear technical specifications, drawings and control documentation with change management.
• Identify safety, quality, efficiency and maintenance improvements using factory performance data.
• Support technicians, contractors and third parties with technical guidance and training.
