Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms in West Bromwich is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for a permanent, full-time role with rotating morning and afternoon shifts.

You will maintain production equipment, fault-find on electrical systems, and support upgrades across motors, drives and PLC-controlled machinery. NVQ3 or equivalent is desirable; 18th Edition preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with motors, inverters, drives and control systems.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent desirable.
• 18th Edition desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Fault find on motors, drives, sensors and PLC systems.
• Support machinery upgrades and improvement projects.
