Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing facility in Horsham, West Sussex. The role focuses on maintaining and improving production equipment and site services, with a hands-on, fault-finding bias and a proactive approach.

The position operates a late shift 15:00-23:00, Monday to Friday, offering a stable career in a well-established organisation with pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition would be beneficial.
• Experience with 3 phase systems.
• Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic skills, including PLC.
• Experience in production/manufacturing environment advantageous.
• Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and hands on approach.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift license would also be beneficial.

Responsabilités

I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join my clients busy manufacturing facility in Horsham, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation offering long term stability and a varied working environment.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of production equipment and site services. You will play a key role in ensuring machinery operates efficiently, minimising downtime and supporting overall operational performance. This position would suit an electrically biased engineer who enjoys fault finding and working in a hands on role.

Please note, this is working a late shift, Monday - Friday 15:00 - 23:00 hours.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across site equipment and facilities.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
• Working hours – 15:00 – 23:00 hours Monday – Friday
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
