Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a single-site role near Henfield, West Sussex. You will fault-find and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, support conveyors and facilities, and work Monday to Friday 14:00–22:00.

The successful candidate will mentor technicians, access first-class training, and benefit from a strong staff package including overtime at an increased rate, flexitime, and ongoing development opportunities within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Electrical or multiskilled fault finding and repairs experience.
• Willingness to be based on site near Henfield.
• Commutable to Henfield and able to work Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and order parts as needed.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and machine optimisation.
• Provide SOP training and administrative duties.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for an electrical maintenance engineer to join the team near Henfield. The successful applicant be a senior member of the team and will be responsible for fault finding and repairing a variety of electrical & mechanical equipment, conveyors, machinery and facilities/building work. You will diagnose issues, order parts if needed, deal with preventive maintenance enhancing machine optimisation and carry out installation requirements, SOP training and administrative duties. You will work alone and as part of a team, mentoring technicians and junior engineers when needed, as the team are looking to expand in 2027 further progression opportunities will be available.
