Job summary

Michael Page in Goole is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair production machinery in a fast-moving FMCG environment, with a structured Monday to Friday schedule from 6am–9am and 2pm–5pm, including a paid 1-hour break.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and work with other departments to improve equipment performance. A permanent role offering £45,000–£50,000, 23 days leave and pension.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing maintenance experience is required.
• HNC or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification.
• City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• H&S/food safety systems and legislation (HACCP Level 2).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs on production machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and planned preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and urgent maintenance needs.
