Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Grimsby for a busy FMCG production environment. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems, diagnose faults and support installation and commissioning of new machinery.

The role operates on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern (6am-6pm, 6pm-6am) with an hourly rate of £23.13, equating to £51,117.30 per year. A bonus scheme of £1,200 per year (paid quarterly) is also offered, within a company committed to safety

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience working in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery and fault-finding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members as required.
