Job summary

Catering seeks an Electrical Maintenance Electrician to join our field-based team in Harlow. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of £35,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, with a company vehicle and fuel card provided.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across domestic, commercial and industrial sites, diagnose faults, install and upgrade equipment, and ensure safety standards are met, while delivering high levels of customer service.

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
Current Wiring Regulations qualification to latest edition.
Experience with three-phase maintenance and repair.
Experience with domestic, commercial and/or industrial systems.
Ability to read electrical drawings and technical information.
Full UK driving licence with at least 12 months' experience.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Professional customer-facing manner.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive electrical servicing, maintenance and repair at customer sites.
Diagnose faults and identify root cause before repairs.
Install, replace and upgrade electrical equipment including boards, lighting, switches and sockets.
Maintain and test emergency lighting and safety systems.
Read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
Record works and materials used accurately.
Communicate professionally with customers and ensure safety compliance.
