Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a static commercial site in Central Cambridge. You will perform both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services, ensuring high standards of reliability and safety.

The role offers overtime, training, and clear career progression within a reputable FM service provider. Salary up to £45,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in commercial environments.
• Multi-skilled with knowledge of mechanical/building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical/building services.
• Electrical works: lighting, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, power distribution.
• Test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems; monitor BMS and plant checks.
• Maintain AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors; assist with minor plumbing and fabric tasks.
• Keep compliance records, logbooks and maintenance reports up to date.
• Escort/subcontractors on site; ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
