Job summary

Auxo Engineering is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) for a leading sustainable packaging manufacturer in Banbury. After a structured training period, you’ll join a 3-shift pattern to maximise equipment reliability and minimize downtime, across a specialist engineering team committed to quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Electrical fault-finding to diagnose faults in plant and machinery.
• Mechanical fault-finding in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and variable speed drives is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork within an engineering cell.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of health and safety and follow risk assessments and procedures.
• Work with Cell Technicians and Cell Leaders to maximise production efficiency.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns.
• Source parts and services cost-effectively and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with regulations.
