Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting two Electrical Maintenance Engineers for a major manufacturing site in Essex. The roles involve keeping production equipment electrically reliable across a fast-moving site, with a mix of planned maintenance and reactive breakdown work.

You will work on automated plant, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled machinery, and you will be expected to identify repeat faults and help improve plant reliability.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Experience maintaining automated production machinery.
• Strong fault-finding ability.
• Experience with motors, contactors and inverter drives.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance on production machinery.
• Reactive electrical breakdown response and fault finding.
• Maintain and repair motors, drives, and control circuits.
• Support PLC-controlled equipment and automation.
• Record maintenance activity in CMMS and report faults.
