Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking two Electrical Maintenance Engineers for a major manufacturing site in Essex. The roles focus on keeping production equipment electrically reliable, with a mix of planned maintenance and fault-finding across motors, drives, PLCs and control systems.

Based in Romford, the positions operate on 42 hours per week with 12-hour day and night rotations. A recognised electrical apprenticeship and strong industrial maintenance experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining automated production machinery.

Responsibilities

• Keep production equipment electrically reliable and available across the site.
• Planned preventative maintenance on production machinery
• Reactive electrical breakdown response
• Fault finding across automated plant and control systems
• Maintain motors, contactors and inverter drives
• Support PLC-controlled machinery
• Record maintenance activity through a CMMS
• Work with production and engineering colleagues
• Maintain high electrical, safety and compliance standards
