Job summary

Kingdom Services Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking four Production Maintenance Technicians to join a world-class manufacturing environment. You will maintain, repair and improve production equipment to maximise uptime, reliability and manufacturing performance.

Working within a highly skilled Engineering team, you'll carry out preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns and support continuous improvement initiatives across a modern manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Apprenticeship or Level 3 Engineering qualification (NVQ/BTEC or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience carrying out preventative maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Desirable: Multi-skilled engineering experience, PLC fault-finding, welding/fabrication, automated production equipment, GMP or regulated manufacturing experience, Lean/Continuous Improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production equipment.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns using systematic fault-finding techniques.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Support production changeovers and equipment set-ups.
  • Improve machine reliability and minimise downtime.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system.
  • Support equipment upgrades and engineering projects.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promote safe working practices and comply with Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ensure engineering work is completed to GMP and company quality standards.

What's the role all about?

As a Production Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in maintaining, repairing and improving production equipment to maximise uptime, reliability and manufacturing performance.

This is a hands‑on engineering role where no two days are the same.
