MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL BIAS

Location: Redcar

Shift: Continentals (7-7)

Salary: £46,000

We are looking for a motivated maintenance engineer to join a market-leading company in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development, this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Role Description

• Respond to machinery and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, ensuring that machinery is serviced, maintained, and safe to use.
• Promote continuous improvement through regular review of machinery, systems, and processes.
• Install new equipment and engage in project-based work as required.
• Minimise downtime, ensuring production is updated on progress.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• City & Guilds level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 18th edition wiring (advantageous).
