Are you a skilled and proactive M&E Maintenance Technician looking to join a dynamic and supportive team?
We’re seeking a Mobile Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across commercial spaces, residential flats, and communal areas within a prestigious private estate in Central London.
Maintenance & Reactive Work
Perform planned and reactive M&E maintenance
Conduct minor fabric works, first-fix plumbing, and drainage repairs.
Diagnose and repair or make safe faulty equipment and installations (lighting, white goods, etc.).
Identify risks and rectify issues on-site.
Respect tenants' privacy and follow all H&S procedures and building regulations.
Support and direct subcontractors and external engineers.
Source and request parts/tools for maintenance jobs and liaise with the procurement team.
Assist in preparing audits, reports, and documentation.
Communicate building issues outside your remit to the appropriate contact (e.g., security, building manager).
Health & Safety
Follow RAMS and conduct risk assessments for all tasks.
Report and rectify hazardous conditions promptly.
Always wear appropriate PPE and follow safety standards.
Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance
Proficient with MS Office and mobile work apps
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Self-motivated, thorough, and able to work independently
BS7671:2018 (Amendment 2) certification
Training in First Aid, Fire Safety, or other H&S courses
Full UK Driving Licence
Availability for out-of-hours call-outs
