Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a similar production/engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical fault finding and machine maintenance.
• Minimising downtime across CNC and production equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and conducting repairs.

Skills

Electrical/mechanical fault diagnosis

Knowledge of 3-phase systems

Hydraulic systems knowledge

Education

HNC / BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: High Wycombe | Hours: 39/week (Day Shift)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience | Overtime Available

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Multiskilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a respected, family-run furniture manufacturer in High Wycombe — a business with over a century of history in producing high-quality furniture.

The Role

You'll be responsible for electrical fault finding, machine maintenance, and reducing downtime across a range of CNC and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical/mechanical fault diagnosis and repair
• Planned & reactive maintenance (using CMMS)
• Breakdown response and minimising disruption
• Work across electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Read and interpret machinery schematics

Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years in a similar production/engineering role
• HNC / BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Experience with CNC machinery
• Knowledge of 3-phase systems, AC/DC drives, servos, relays, and control panels
• Full UK driving licence (on-call rota participation required)
