Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a single-site role near Henfield, West Sussex. You will fault find on electrical and mechanical equipment, manage conveyors and machinery, and carry out installation work and SOP training.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 14:00–22:00, with excellent training and a strong benefits package. The successful candidate will be a senior team member, mentoring technicians and junior engineers as the team grows in 2027, with

• Experience in fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with conveyors and machinery preferable.
• Willing to train and mentor junior staff.

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for an electrical maintenance engineer to join the team near Henfield. The successful applicant be a senior member of the team and will be responsible for fault finding and repairing a variety of electrical & mechanical equipment, conveyors, machinery and facilities/building work. You will diagnose issues, order parts if needed, deal with preventive maintenance enhancing machine optimisation and carry out installation requirements, SOP training and administrative duties. You will work alone and as part of a team, mentoring technicians and junior engineers when needed, as the team are looking to expand in 2027 further progression opportunities will be available.
