Job summary

INDSW is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a permanent night shift in Redditch. You will have full autonomy on the night shift, focusing on PPM, reliability maintenance, and PM schedule development.

The role includes parts control and monitoring team performance, with a hands-on/desk-based hybrid setup. The position offers 4 nights per week (on a Sunday–Friday pattern) with overtime premiums and a potential total around £60,000.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical maintenance in a fast-paced FMCG setting.
• Experience managing maintenance projects from design to sign-off.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance and reliability maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planned maintenance across night shift.

Want to to join a fast paced growing manufacturer in Redditch? My client are looking to hire a Electrical Maintenance Engineer/Engineering co-ordinator to mainly focus on supporting systems for Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, devise PM schedules. Parts control and the monitoring of team performance. This will be part hands on part hands off, full autonomy on the night shift and will report to the Engineering Manager.

There is flexibility with work hours for this role, you will be required to work 4 chosen nights across 6 nights which will consist of four 10 hour shifts Sunday – Friday

This will suit a hands on electrical maintenance engineer from an fmcg background who wants to step up into a senior position and doesn’t mind a hybrid role hands on/desk based.

Experience required for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Management experience within an engineering function.


• Experience working in FMCG environment or similar fast paced manufacturing operation.


• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems


• Experience of managing projects from design to sign off


• In depth understanding of mechanical, electrical and logic control systems


• Experience of computerised maintenance management systems.
