Job summary

Stirling Warrington in Redditch is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor/Engineering Coordinator to support Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reliability Maintenance, devising PM schedules, parts control and monitoring team performance. The role is on a night shift with four nights chosen across six, offering full autonomy and reporting to the Engineering Manager.

The position suits a hands-on electrical maintenance engineer from an FMCG background stepping up to a senior role, with a hybrid mix

Qualifications

• Management experience within an engineering function.
• Experience working in an FMCG environment or similar fast paced manufacturing operation.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience of managing projects from design to sign off.
• In depth understanding of mechanical, electrical and logic control systems.
• Experience of computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Support Planned Preventative Maintenance and Reliability Maintenance.
• Devise PM schedules and monitor performance of the maintenance team.
• Oversee parts control on a hands-on/off night shift with full autonomy.
• Report to Engineering Manager and drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Lead project work and ensure timely completion during a hybrid hands-on/desk-based role.

Want to to join a fast paced growing manufacturer in Redditch? My client are looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor/Engineering co-ordinator to mainly focus on supporting systems for Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance, devise PM schedules. Parts control and the monitoring of team performance. This will be part hands on part hands off, full autonomy on the night shift and will report to the Engineering Manager.

There is flexibility with work hours for this role, you will be required to work 4 chosen nights across 6 nights which will consist of four 10 hour shifts Sunday – Friday

This will suit a hands on electrical maintenance engineer from an fmcg background who wants to step up into a senior position and doesn’t mind a hybrid role hands on/desk based.
