Job Overview

My client is a large Facilities and Maintenance company operating across various properties in the commercial sector. They are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join an established team on a static site near Guildford. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00.

Responsibilities

1. Perform all PPMs and reactive works on site.
2. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with task schedules and industry standards.
3. Maintain site compliance and follow best practices.
4. Monitor and manage all main plant and equipment daily.
5. Build and maintain good relationships with employees and clients.
6. Uphold a professional image and promote services.
7. Supervise subcontractors, ensuring contractual and site compliance.
8. Manage the site logbook and keep all paperwork updated.
9. Oversee CAFM and Concept systems, ensuring PPM and reactive tasks meet SLAs.
10. Address client issues effectively, minimizing disruption.
11. Participate in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.

Minimum Requirements

1. Fully qualified electrically to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with AM2 if required.
2. 18th Edition certification.
3. 2391 Test and Inspection (highly desirable).
4. Experience working in occupied office environments.
5. Valid driving license.
6. Ability to obtain a DBS check.
