Electrical Maintenance Engineer – South West London – £40,000

Location: Nine Elms

Salary: £40,000 + OT

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM – 5PM

PRS is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer based at a premium residential complex in South West London. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in building maintenance.

The role involves carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the onsite maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facilities maintenance and a proven track record in building maintenance. The company offers a competitive salary of £40,000 plus plenty of overtime.

Duties include:

• Carrying out hands-on maintenance of primary electrical equipment in plant rooms and common areas of a super prime residential/mixed-use development.
• Fault detection and repair of electrical equipment.
• Performing PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults, ensuring statutory compliance.
• Servicing, fault diagnosis, and repair of electrical systems according to standards.
• Submitting clear and accurate reports of work undertaken.
• Participating in building shutdowns with minimal disruption.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for electrical systems.
• Documenting all maintenance and repair activities with accurate records.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within prime residential or high-end hotel environments.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
• City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
• City and Guilds 18th Edition
• Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with PDA/mobile devices and report writing.
• Outstanding customer service and client-facing skills.
