Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a 3-month rolling contract based in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off days and nights schedule.

The candidate will perform reactive and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime across various equipment, working outside IR35 and at £35 per hour. Ideal applicants will have NVQ Level 3 or an electrical apprenticeship and PLC experience with Siemens S5/S7.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience in manufacturing or FMCG.
• NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Able to fault find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
• Experience with Siemens S5/S7 PLCs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reactive maintenance including fault finding and component replacement on a variety of machines.
• Preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Fault finding on PLCs and electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, and motors.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing

The day-to-day responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.

• Reactive maintenance will include fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines.
• Preventative maintenance
• Electrical responsibilities will include fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase, AC and DC motors and contactors

The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.

• Previous Electrical experience within an Industrial environment - this could be Manufacturing, or FMCG.
• NVQ LVL 3 or Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering is a must
• Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical component
• Experience with working PLCs (Siemens S5 and S7)
