Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd in Dudley is recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy manufacturing site. You will carry out maintenance across production equipment, respond to breakdowns, and minimise downtime in a busy plant environment.

The role requires a Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification, PLC fault-finding experience, and strong hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills. Shifts include early and late doubles. Overtime available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance across production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment
• Complete planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics and technical drawings
• Undertake mechanical fault finding and repairs using engineering documentation
• Support PLC diagnostics and assist with installation, commissioning, and equipment modifications

A well-established UK-based heavy engineering manufacturer in Dudley is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance across a range of production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment is essential
• Complete planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics and technical drawings
• Undertake mechanical fault finding and repairs using engineering documentation
• Support PLC diagnostics and assist with installation, commissioning, and equipment modifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Maintenance engineering experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing environments
