Safran in Wolverhampton is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure maximum uptime of production equipment and site services. You will perform fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs and modifications to CNC machinery, electrical and hydraulic systems, and read electrical schematics.
The role involves reactive and planned maintenance across hydraulic test systems, CNC equipment, heat treatment and plating facilities, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will play a key role in ensuring maximum uptime of critical production equipment and site services through both reactive and planned maintenance activities for a global leader in aerospace actuation systems. You will conduct electrical fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs, and modifications to high-tech machinery and equipment.
Maintain and repair hydraulic test systems, including control systems and associated instrumentation such as load cells or torque transducers. Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance on CNC equipment. Support maintenance of process equipment, including Heat Treatment and Plating facilities. Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical documentation. Understand and work with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and drawings. Conduct electrical fault-finding, diagnosis, repairs, and modifications.
