Qualifications

  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in relevant discipline or NVQ/Diploma Level 2 plus industrial experience.
  • City & Guilds, ONC or BTEC Level 3 preferred. 18th edition and C&G 2391 training can be provided.
  • Experience in planned and reactive maintenance on industrial systems.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.

Package: £30,150 – £40,000 plus generous workplace allowances (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)

Opportunities for overtime, available at an enhanced rate.

Let us introduce the role

AWE is currently recruiting for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to work within our Maintenance Teams .

This role is ideally suited to a maintenance engineer who enjoys a hands-on role carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art plant, processes and facilities. The work will be on a range of systems including electrical distribution, specialist production equipment and ventilation systems.

Joining our maintenance team means that you will be at the forefront of all we do, maintaining critical facilities infrastructure as part of a close-knit team delivering best-in-class service.

Who are we looking for?

We do need you to have the following:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in relevant discipline or NVQ/Diploma Level 2 plus industrial experience

  • A recognised relevant qualification such as City & Guilds, ONC or BTEC Level 3

  • 18th edition and C&G 2391 preferred but not this is not essential as training can be provided.
