Job summary

JTL is seeking an Electrical Internal Quality Assurer to strengthen the quality of our electrical apprenticeship provision across the full journey. You will evaluate teaching, training and progress, aligning outcomes with standards and safeguarding consistently high quality.

You will work with Training Officers, Tutors and managers, providing clear feedback, coaching and guidance to improve practice and outcomes for learners and employers.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications and industry knowledge relevant to apprenticeship delivery.
• Ability to assess and assure electrical teaching, training and progress.
• Proven experience in coaching or mentoring assessors and tutors.
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete risk-based sampling and QA activity across the electrical apprenticeship journey.
• Review assessment decisions for validity and fairness.
• Evaluate apprentices’ progress and readiness for gateway and end-point assessment.
• Identify learning barriers and ensure timely learning support.
• Review teaching and assessment through observations and discussions.
• Provide developmental feedback to Training Officers and tutors.
• Identify risks and promote best practice across delivery teams.
• Lead standardisation and moderation activities.
• Produce reports and maintain auditable records.
