Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrician to become an Electrical Installation Trainer/Assessor in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Salary £38,000 - £41,500, with full training in renewables, a company pension and 36 days holiday.

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. You will deliver practical and classroom Electrical Installation training, coach and assess apprentices, and support learners with both practical and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Strong Electrical Installation experience from industry.
• Interest in moving into a long-term teaching/assessor role.

As part of your development, you'll receive full teacher and assessor training alongside specialist training in future technologies including Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging, and Inspection & Testing, allowing you to broaden your own technical expertise while remaining at the forefront of the industry.

The Person

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Strong Electrical Installation industry experience
• Background as an Electrician, Approved Electrician, Electrical Supervisor, or Maintenance Electrician
• Interested in developing renewable technology skills
• Looking to move off the tools into a long-term training career
• Strong communication skills and enjoys mentoring others
• No previous teaching or assessing experience required
