Job summary

Clarus Education is seeking a Course Team Leader – Electrical Installations at Harrow Weald. You will lead curriculum development and deliver across electrical programmes, ensuring assessments meet awarding body standards and high learner achievement.

The role includes coordinating teaching teams, planning timetables and developing quality assurance processes, with a focus on continued professional development and promotion opportunities within the College.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Electrical Installation (NVQ or equivalent).
• Assessor qualification (A1 or TAQA Level 3 or equivalent).
• Level 5 teaching qualification for FE or willingness to work towards it with College support.
• Successful teaching experience in Electrical Installation.
• Experience in curriculum planning and development.
• Knowledge of quality assurance in education.

Responsibilities

• Teach across a range of programmes within Electrical Installation, plumbing and multi-skills provision.
• Coordinate curriculum development and ensure learners’ work and assessments meet standards.
• Manage timetables, resources and ensure high levels of enrolment and learner achievement.
• Collaborate with staff and external bodies including employers to support learners.
