Job summary

Chelmsford College in Chelmsford is seeking an Electrical Installations Apprenticeship Specialist to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across full-time study programmes and apprenticeships.

You will assess learners in workshop and workplace, support End Point Assessment and qualification outcomes, and build strong links with employers while contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Has the required electrical qualifications and industry experience.
• Holds NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment.
• Has Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve within agreed timeframe.
• Has IQA qualification or willingness to achieve within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Electrical Installation Programmes and Apprenticeships.
• Assess learner competence in workshop and workplace environments.
• Support Apprentices to achieve End Point Assessment and qualification outcomes.
• Build relationships with employers and industry partners.
• Contribute to curriculum development, industry engagement and quality improvement.
• Maintain accurate learner progress records and meet awarding organisation requirements.
• Act as a role model for professional standards, health and safety.
