Job summary

Dovetail and Slate are seeking an experienced Electrical Installations Apprenticeship Specialist in Essex to deliver high-quality training for full-time study programmes and apprenticeships. You will assess learners in both workshop and workplace settings, supporting their progression and EPA outcomes.

You will collaborate with employers to shape curriculum, ensure industry relevance, and uphold safety and quality standards while guiding learners toward successful careers in electrical

Qualifications

• JIB Approved Electrician status required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment required.
• AM2 qualification required.
• Assessor Qualification (A1, D32/33, CAVA or equivalent) preferred.
• IQA Qualification or willingness to achieve within timeframe.
• Recent industrial electrical industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Electrical Installation programmes and Apprenticeships.
• Assess learner competence in workshop and workplace environments.
• Support Apprentices to achieve End Point Assessment and qualification outcomes.
• Build relationships with employers and industry partners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate learner progress records and meet awarding body requirements.
• Model professional standards, health and safety, and best practice.
